Meet the Diva behind the Decor

Hi 👋🏼 I’m Kara. I’m a wife, mom and teacher. I love all things girly, a good psychological thriller book and comfy pj’s after a steaming hot shower (I’d choose staying in on my couch versus going out any day 😝) I’m also a lover of all things home decor, organization and inspiring people to create a home and space they love.

I’ve always had a passion for home design and will aimlessly wander the isles of Marshall’s, Homegoods and TJ Maxx (fun fact: I love me a good bargain or dupe- we’re working with a teacher salary here 🤪) with tons of ideas of how to style certain pieces of decor. When my husband and I bought our second home about two years ago, it was a complete gut job and needed renovation from the inside out. He let me take the reins completely when designing and styling our home and it has been so amazing seeing our visions come to life.

I started sharing our journey online and received tons of positive feedback from friends and family, which was so appreciated. I decided to create a space here where I can share all of the things to help you when you’re stuck in the “I have no idea where to even begin”rut.

I am in no way an “influencer,” just a mom with a strong passion for helping others and hopefully making your life a little easier when it comes to home decor.
